Mr. Md. Waliullah, FCA, was born into a respected Muslim family in Kishoreganj, Bangladesh. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he began his professional journey by establishing a sole private practice firm, Siddiqui Wali & Co., Chartered Accountants, in 1981. Later, he joined M.A. Malek & Co., Chartered Accountants, and together formed the partnership firm now known as Malek Siddiqui Wali, Chartered Accountants.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Waliullah has gained extensive experience in public practice, covering a wide range of areas including statutory and special audits, due diligence, business valuation, impairment testing, system design and implementation, financial consultancy, and advisory services.

Under his dynamic leadership, the firm has achieved recognition and registration with major regulatory authorities in Bangladesh, including the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Bangladesh Bank, Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), NGO Affairs Bureau, and the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA).

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Waliullah has contributed to the business and education sectors as a Non-Executive Director of Satcom Group and Alpha Rating Ltd., and as the Founder of Dhaka Imperial College

He is also deeply involved in social and community service, supporting initiatives such as orphan care, food distribution, and educational assistance programs. Additionally, he has served as an Election Commissioner for the ICAB Council Election, reflecting his continued commitment to the advancement of the accounting profession in Bangladesh.
